Across Cape Ann to the opposite shore
Tom and Joy have moved once more,
Near Emma Zoe Beth and Simon
(now there's a name we all can rhyme on)
Jeanette and John from the arctic north
To our tropical clime zip back and forth
While Edie Jane, I beg your pardon,
Is back again to fix the garden.
Elias and Charlie -- no high-tech rush --
seem happy as clams with bow and brush.
Here's Arthur, Sylvia, Elizabeth too,
From Windy City to do this do.
As Jim and Judy, Doug and Lynne
Come to join their kith and kin
Like Schatzie, Martha, Ric, Rose, and Annie
Mark and Nya -- it's uncanny
How Xavier and Ibby are grown Gigantic
Here beside the broad Atlantic.
Bella too, that Amherst Belle
(A toast let's raise to absent Nell).
And Larry and Charlotte who share our tree --
I think their branch starts near BC --
But smaller twigs more up to date
Are Peter Emma Sarah Kate.

(Ibby's name is really Ella, and unnamed Howard was Martha's fella)
