Today it is -23 here in Ottawa and snowfall for the season is heading towards beating a 1970 record. Something close to an Edmonton experience. With another blizzard scheduled for tomorrow it's just about time to join the wusses....

Nice pic, riprap. And it's all part of "global warming"!
Does look mighty familiar. Our long driveway is about to become impassible...impassable... okay, in regards to our driveway, we're approaching an impasse.
The heap of snow out our door is 9 feet high... drifted and plowed.
We actually haven't gone below about 3ºF this winter, and the fluctuations have been upsettling. Sunday it was 38F, this morning it was 5. What gives! And who might Paua be?
I think we may have a lurker in our midst. Come out and identify yourself!!
We've just come out of a two-week deep freeze here in Edmonton. Now that it's warmed up a bit we're getting dribs and drabs of snow. Tedious, especially for the snowplows!
Yesterday we finally got our electricity back after two days.
Ice storm on Wednesday left gorgeous jewels on treetops and fallen heavy branches everywhere and a couple hundred thousand homes powerless... memries of '98.
Gorgeous today tho!
